Soulfire
A fire spinner performance troupe based on the South-East Queensland, Australia. Our group contains a group of very talented performers with many skills per performer. This range includes poi, partner poi, snake poi, staff, double staff, eclipse, contact staff, dragonstaff, buugeng, contact juggling, rope dart, partner rope dart, meteor, fire whips, fans, fire palm (lady duo) and choreographed group staff performances.
Soulfire has performed at a variety of locations including festivals, functions, parties and local fire events. Soulfire is most recognised for its use of Kabuki Warrior style performances, creating moving animals out of fire staffs and having gas fire installations come alive during the performance. Recently Soulfire expanded to Gold Coast and have started a training warehouse - a meca for firespinners.
Lately, we have been expanding our minds and looking at ways to make a new level of fire performance. Things that we are looking at include martial arts, dancing (popping, tutting, strobing, etc), character movement and fire magic.
What do you think would look cool?

Inflamed
This is a project started in April 2002 by Craig Stolly and Saul Smith . Inflamed comes from the passion for fire and a taste for things out of the ordinary, we want to bring this unique artform out of the underground into the eye of the public.
Fire-dancing is not unlike any other form of dancing, like Latin American or Break dancing where we move our bodies to the music. However the element of fire makes it more intriguing to our thrill seeking generation. The tools we use for performing are either poi , which are burning wicks attached to a chain, or the fire staff. These are the two most commonly used fire toys.
Inspired by performers across the spectrum from The Prodigy to Lord of the Dance, all the way to shoalin monks and Ronald McDonald.
