Schools of Fire Arts
The Schools of Fire Arts is a collection of Poi schools across South Africa that have come together and combined their knowledge Working together we are creating a uniform system of teaching Poi and Staff in South Africa. This combined effort ensures that all students across the country are all learning the same high standard of Poi.
Together we are exploring the endless possibilities that these amazing performance arts offer, the only question remaining is will you join us on this journey of discovery.

What do you need to do to get started?
1) Choose the module you wish to learn and the branch(School) you want to attend and contact us.
We do suggest starting with the beginner module even if you have done some poi in the past.
The reason for this is we cover termonology, component moves and lots of theory in the beginner module.
Knowing all the basics is fundimentally important if you wish to learn advanced Poi.
2) We will then send you additional information on your module and an invoice.
The module has to be paid in full up front or a special payment options are available.
We do this because it motivates people to come finish the coarse vs paying per lessons and giving up to easily.
3) Once the Module has been paid for upi contact us to book you lesson times and dates.
JHB and PTA work on individual lessons while KZN and Eastern Cape have set group lessons.
