Your first set of practice poi or staff will be provided free as part of the Introduction module.

 Classes are structured as follows:

·                 20 min: Lesson Introduction, warm up and stretching.

·                 60 min: New move demonstration, practice and personal instruction.

·                 10 min: Closing comments from the instructor.

Beginner Poi Module

This Poi course provides instruction for beginner poi spinners. During each class, new concepts and moves will be introduced which are then practiced with guidance from the instructor.

The first two classes focus on the fundamentals of poi movement learning basic moves such as plane control, hip reels and 2 beat weaves. The next four classes cover the windmill, butterfly and 3 beat weave moves as well as variations of these moves.

This module will be concluded with a beginner fire night session for all students at the end of each month.
