Fu-cha Spring Recreation (Psytrance Festival) was the first festival on the calendar and we couldn’t wait. We had been practicing hard all winter and couldn’t wait to show everyone our new routines. The bulk of the poi community in South Africa come from the psy scene as far as we can tell. Years ago before we started Fire Desire we use to attend festivals to see Fire Dancing and one could say this is one of the reasons we got into it. Now a couple years on we are invited by most organisers to host workshops and perform at their festivals. We receive the most amazing responses at festivals which makes it all worth while. Thanks to everyone for the support you have shown us over the past 2 years. We promise to keep pushing the boundaries of our performance and keep hosting free workshops at festivals.

Moksha Spring Pollination is an open air festival (Genre: Psytrance) located in the Cradle of Mankind in Southern Africa. The Fossil Hominid Sites of Sterkfontein, Swartkrans, Kromdraai and Environs, are known as the Cradle of Humankind, which was declared a World Heritage Site on December 2 1999. The Cradle of Humankind covers an area of over 47 000 hectares of privately owned land in the north western corner of Gauteng. The area is of outstanding universal value, because it contains a complex of palaeo-anthropological sites, which have yielded some of the most valuable evidence, world-wide, of the origins of modern humans, hence its name “ Cradle of Humankind”
