I’ve bought some comets poi a few years back but im really interested in getting LED rainbow sock poi’s.

The thing is im not sure where to get them in South Africa, does anybody know?

It looks like a staff when you swing it around because the whole sock is lined with the LED lights. The strobe version would be ideal.

Not too keen on getting them from overseas, just with all the postage costs etc.

This is probably far too late an answer for it to be of any use, but Home of Poi is great for ordering because they give you the price in rands and a total cost, including postage when you pay. Also, delivery takes about 2 to 3 weeks, depending on the items... so not a very long wait

One High Power 3W RGB LED runs these amazing led poi balls inside each one of the 4" 'matrix' balls. One glowball is set to display (red or green) - by switching the slide switch and the other is set to display (blue or red), similarly. They are set up this way in order to yield (red-red, red-blue, red-green, or blue-green) - user's choice of those combinations.
