Fire safety is the number 1 priority of fire dancing. Fire Desire takes fire safety very seriously and so should you. Fire Dancing is fun, but it can also be dangerous. To maximise the safety of ourselves and of others, it is important to be aware of the dangers that fire can present. By following some simple guidelines (many of which are common sense) we can ensure that we will twirl in a safe manner and further enjoy the beauty of this dynamic art.

Prevention is better than cure! Although there’s also two old sayings that go something along the lines of, “you live by the sword, you die by the sword” & one which I am positive everyone is familiar with, “you play with fire, you get burnt”. So technically its bound to happen at some point or another, however, there are some steps that we can take to prevent or at least make unwanted situations less likely to occur.
